 
Sierra Electronic Assembly is a privately owned, high-tech electronic Contract Manufacturer. Our facility is highly flexible, allowing us to support a wide variety of board and component configurations.
Our process accommodates surface mount, through-hole and mixed technologies supporting low to medium volume jobs. We welcome prototype and pilot runs and will work with our customers through the development of their product.
Sierra Electronic Assembly is located in the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains near Yosemite National Park. We are an environmentally responsible company, and use those technologies that have minimal adverse environmental affects.
We have a team-based workforce, and our production staff is trained to identify and address quality issues at their individual workstations during the manufacturing process. This results in better assembly from the start to the finished product. Our state-of-the-art Shop Floor Control System provides for continuous improvement in our processes.
We use IPC-610/ANSI/J-STD-001A standards during the assembly process. We have the flexibility to customize our quality procedures and guidelines according to our contract customer requirements. We have planned our SMT line with flexibility and growth in mind in order to accommodate our customers' future needs. We are presently evaluating automated SMT placement equipment, and are currently acquiring ISO9000 and other related certifications, including those of NASA.
